The software is used by developers to create programmable components that can work together to perform Internet-related tasks like sending e-mail, Web browsing and more.
/n software inc. President and CEO Gent Hito called the move to Mac OS X “a logical move” for the company, given requests from Mac developers. Hito added that Mac OS X’s Unix basis made the Mac conversion “a matter of hours” worth of work from the Linux and Solaris products, with several man-months more spent making it look and feel like Mac OS X software.
“Long term, we are committed to providing the same functionality and support to Macintosh developers as other platforms, ensuring IP*Works! is always their tool of choice for Internet development,” said Hito.
IP*Works! Version 5 is also available in more than 20 other editions, available for various platforms, IDEs and component technologies. The Mac OS X pubic beta is available for immediately download.
