Scheduled for 7 – 9:30 pm, the event features part two of their open screen highlights from the Final Cut Pro User Group Film Theater held at Macworld Expo in New York this past July. Gil Irizarry of Conoa, Inc. will also be showing off Conoa 3D 1.5, an effect plug-in that provides Final Cut Pro, After Effects and other video compositors and editors with raytracing rendering effects.
Steve Garfield will discuss a short news piece he filmed during the Macworld Expo Boston announcement last week. He used a Canon GL2 MiniDV camera. Loren Miller will host a Final Cut Pro keyboard shortcuts session, and Charlie Roberts will do another round of “Basic Training” on Final Cut Pro, with an emphasis on issues related to Mac OS X 10.2.1.
As always, there’s the Big Dig Raffle, a chance to win great prizes including books, software and more. Attendance for the BOSFCPUG meeting is free, and if you’d like to participate in the Big Dig Raffle, it’ll cost you a US$5 donation. If you plan on coming, please make sure to register online.
