Dr. Bott, a manufacturer and distributor of Mac peripherals, has added the DVI Extractor II to its Apple Display Connector line. With the device, displays with a 24-pin DVI-D or a 29-pin DVI-I connector can be used with the latest generation of Macs that sport an ADC (Apple Display Connector) port.

In a change from the original DVI Extractor, DVI Extractor II has a DVI-I connector that lets you connect digital displays that come with a dual-purpose DVI-I video cable. Plus, certain displays that haven’t worked on the Mac so far — such as models from Eizo and Samsung — can now be used, said Eric Prentice, CEO of Dr. Bott LLC.
DVI Extractor II is compatible with all Power Mac G4s and the G4 Cubes that come with an ADC graphics card. It was built to support specific flat panel displays (Eizo Nanao L351/675/685, IBM T860, IIiyama AS4637UT & AU4831D, Philips MP150/180, and Samsung L1810, 152T) and is compatible with others.
DVI Extractor II for ADC retails for $37.95. For more info go to the product Web site.
