The Mac-only online game finding service GameRanger today added support for Aspyr Media’s Ghost Recon Game of the Year Edition, which Aspyr noted late last week is beginning to ship to retailers.

The addition of Ghost Recon marks GameRanger’s 108th supported title. The popular online service costs nothing to join, and it sports more than 100,000 registered members who use GameRanger to chat with each other, as well as join and host a variety of popular Mac commercial, shareware and freeware games with multiplayer capabilities.
Ghost Recon is the latest edition of a game series that started with Rainbow Six and continued with Rogue Spear. A squad based tactical simulation, Ghost Recon outfits you with the latest in realistic military hardware as you and your team of specially trained Green Berets infiltrate hot zones in Russia and East Africa to quell uprisings that threaten global stability.
In the past few days GameRanger added support for another recent Aspyr offering, Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast.
