DropDMG enables users to create disk images complete with encryption and GZip, BZip2 or MacBinary post-processing. It supports the ability to use rich-text license agreements, segmented images and auto-open images.
New features in DropDMG 2.0 include the ability to convert dropped images into the format specified in preferences; support for self-mounting NDIF images which work both in 9 and X, faster file copying in Jaguar, bug fixes and more.
Distributed as US$10 shareware, DropDMG requires Mac OS X 10.1 or later. It’s a free update for users of 1.x.
