Project Timer runs on the traditional Mac operating system, Mac OS X and Windows. It’s targeted to consultants, freelancers, lawyers, architects, independent contractors, video and audio pros, and others who need to monitor the time spent on tasks and then bill clients.
Version 1.3 adds a “Pause” button if you want to take a break. The editor has been taken from the window and made more powerful and easier to work with, according to Julian Miller of Script Software. Project Timer can now backtrack records and the date and time entries have been improved to make it easier to enter data.
Mac OS X users can also take advantage of a Dock menu that allows you to control Project Timer even when its in the background. The application costs US$20.
