The collection of music has been created specifically for Sonic Desktop. It’s royalty-free, so once you buy the set you can use it without worry. The new collection has been created to appeal to media content creators looking to add a hard edge to action videos, extreme sports footage, or anything else where some music influenced by bands like Rage Against the Machine, Limp Bizkit and Korn might come in handy.
Edge 4 composer Michael Hakes calls it a collection of “intense, dark, edgy sounds.” Hakes credits include soundtrack work in television and studio work with leading artists. He’s currently on tour as lead guitarist for the Edgar Winter Band.
The Edge Series Volume 4 is available in two CD formats — 44KHz samples for $129 and 22KHz samples for $69. The 44KHz version is available at a special introductory price of $99 through December 6th.
