Norpath Elements Studio provides a graphical object-based authoring environment and includes a suite of graphics, animation, multimedia, knowledge, application logic and interface components. Together, the elements can be used to create rich media presentations, prototype designs, e-learning applications, and other types of interactive content.
What’s more, Norpath Elements Studio includes element libraries, templates and publishing wizards to help simplify the creation process. And no actual code-writing or scripting language learning is necessary to get the projects to work, according to the developers.
The underpinning technology that drives Norpath Elements is Java and Extensible Markup Language (XML). And the company has created client software called Norpath Elements Player which can be used to distribute Studio-created efforts. The Player operates as a standalone application or as a Web browser plug-in, and can be used on Windows, Mac OS X, Linux and Solaris operating systems.
Norpath Elements Studio is available for purchase and download from Norpath’s Web site. It costs US$499.
