An IDG exec, an Apple exec, a Pangea Software exec, and more will guest on tonight’s episode of Your Mac Life, the Internet show about all things Mac.
Charlie Greco, CEO of IDG World Expo, will explain why the summer Macworld Conference & Expo is moving from New York to Boston in 2004. Speaking of Macworld expos, the next one is less than three months away, and Your Mac Life host-producer Shawn King will be serving up info on YML’s special deal for hotel rooms at the San Francisco Marriott. It’s only a block and a half away fro the Moscone Center, home to the January show.
Today is the first anniversary of Apple’s iPod introduction. Stan Ng, Apple’s iPod product line manager, will be on tonight’s show to talk about the past year and the iPod.
Last week, Brian Greenstone of Pangea Software announced the availability of the latest Pangea game, Bugdom 2. MacCentral’s Peter Cohen interviews Greenstone on tonight’s Your Mac Life. King will talk with Victor Nemechek of El Gato Software, the company behind the hit EyeTV product. And Dawn D’Angelillo, the editor of the MacWomen Newsletter, will be on the show to talk about women, technology and Macs.
If you’d like to send questions in advance for one of the show’s guests, e-mail them to King. Prizes this evening include copies of “Mac OS X Killer Tips,” “Mac OS X: The Missing Manual, Jaguar Edition” and Roxio’s Toast 5 Titanium.
You can catch Your Mac Life every Wednesday from 5:30-8:30 p.m. (Pacific). You can also join one of the two chat rooms that run during the live show on the World Without Borders Web site or on the dedicated IRC server at irc.netmug.org in the #yourmaclife Channel.
Finally, King’s next stop on the YML MUG Tour will be this Friday in State College, Pennsylvania, home of the Pennsylvania Macintosh User Group. The meeting will be held at the Materials Lab Building at Penn State’s University Park campus. Details can be found at the Pennsylvania MUG site.
