The Omni Group has released an updated version of its Mac OS X-native diagramming and drawing tool OmniGraffle. The new 2.1 version is ready for download from The Omni Group’s Web site now.

Changes in OmniGraffle 2.1 include Jaguar-specific enhancements, including support for transparent PDFs. It also supports transparency in EPS export and printing. OmniGraffle also adds support for custom page sizes. ColorSync is now supported under Mac OS X 10.2 as well.
Other major changes since 2.0’s release include Japanese and French localization, a new version of the Network palette and new Maps, Periodic Table, Toy Brick and Electronics palettes and an updated UML palette. Software Update gains enhancements for beta users, force directed layout with line weighting has been improved, and the user interface has been improved too.
OmniGraffle is available in both Free and Licensed versions, with the licensed version costing US$59.95. OmniGraffle 2.1 is a free update for OmniGraffle 2.x users.
