Solutions Etcetera has released a time-limited trial version of SuperCard 4, its recently released authoring and rapid application development tool for Mac OS 8.6 or higher, including Mac OS X.

SuperCard 4 is a recreated version of the authoring environment for Mac users, and sports myriad new features and enhancements along with a new interface. Users can create SuperCard projects that run in both Mac OS X and older versions, with improved scripting tools, better ability to manage custom properties, resizing and more.
The trial version is limited to 30 days of use. The trial version includes the SuperCard runtime, the Runtime Editor and all utilities, and the Developer’s Edition alternate editing environment called SuperEdit. It doesn’t include standalone Maker, the SuperCard Player, or the Internals Toolbox — items included with the regular release version of SuperCard 4.
SuperCard 4 costs US$179 for the Standard Edition, $279 for the Developer Edition. Upgrades from previous versions start at $129.
