Runtime Revolution has announced plans to ship a new version of its multiplatform development environment Revolution in November. The new release adds features, supports Jaguar and more.

Revolution sports an interface builder, an English-like programming language, and built-in Internet and multimedia support. The software enables developers to deploy a Revolution application across multiple operating systems including Mac OS, Mac OS X, Windows and Linux.
Revolution 2.0 sports myriad enhancements including a Jaguar-friendly user interface; a “Transcript Cookbook” which explains a range of useful routines; Unicode text entry and manipulation; spreadsheet and table text fields; XML library; SOAP support; New report printing; new integrated debugger with scripting support; improved database access; and much more.
If you already have a Revolution Professional Edition license, you can download the 2.0 test release now. Anyone who buys Revolution 1.1.1 between now and the release date will get 2.0 for free when it becomes available in November.
