If you’re spending too much time at your Mac, you may want to perk up and pay attention to this: Coffee Break Pro, an application designed to prevent (or improve) repetitive stress injuries, has been updated to version 2.0. The update brings Mac OS X compatibility.
Besides encouraging you to take a break at specified intervals, Coffee Break Pro provides some basic user activity data such as key presses or mouse clicks per second. The US$20 shareware product — which is made with the REALbasic editing environment from REAL Software — has now added a “show time in dock” option for Mac OS X users.
Version 2.0 also adds “hit the snooze button” and “take a break now” items to the Dock menu and a “retroactive pause” option. It requires Mac OS 8.1 or later, up through Mac OS X 10 Jaguar.
