Eovia releases Carrara 3D Basics

Eovia Corp. announced this week the release of Carrara 3D Basics, a scaled down version of the company’s professional level Carrara Studio 2. Targeted to amateurs and hobbyists, Carrara 3D Basics provides many of the same features as the higher-end Studio product.

Priced at US$99, the Basics package contains ready-to-use content, allowing people to jump right into a project. Carrara 3D Basics is also fully web-ready and offers web-oriented features and export formats.

Carrara 3D Basics is available for Mac OS 8.1 or higher, including Mac OS X. Eovia is also offering Carrara 3D Basics users an upgrade path to Carrara Studio 2 when they outgrow the pacakage.
