The business and productivity application developers at Praevius Inc. have updated MacInvoice and MacLedger.
In addition to being OS X native, MacInvoice 1.5, when completed, will also support the following features: estimates, multiple company support, archiving, improved saving and notification when creating new invoices, a simplified registration process, and “the most requested feature of all,” an Invoice Creation Wizard that will allow an individual to customize both the layout, and the content, of an invoice. Praevius said the update would be free for all registered users of MacInvoice.
In addition, all current users of MacInvoice, as well as those who purchase MacInvoice 1.5, will receive free updates for one year. MacInvoice 1.5 Beta 2, which fixes several bugs, is now available to download.
MacLedger, also in beta testing, has been updated to version 0.8.0, which fixes some bugs and adds extensive reports, so users can to see at a glance how money is being spent. It’s an in-the-works, Mac OS X only application designed to help individuals or businesses simplify their financial record keeping. It allows for multiple ledgers and an unlimited number of custom transaction categories. MacLedger 0.8.0 is now available for download.
