360Works has released WooF 1.01. Standing for “WebObjects on FileMaker,” WooF is a WebObjects plug-in that enables it to dynamically access information stored in FileMaker Pro.

WooF is targeted at FileMaker Web developers who are looking for better performance, security, reusability and flexibility than they can get with CDML or Lasso, according to its developer. It’s also aimed at developers who are working on projects that need to preserve an existing FileMaker Pro-based system.
WooF supports FileMaker Pro calculations, and all FileMaker Pro data types. WooF also works with FileMaker Pro’s built-in serial number generator for primary keys; supports spaces and special characters in databases and more.
WooF costs US$250 for a single deployment server. A demo download is available from the Web site.
