Casady & Greene Inc. announced the release of a new version of iData Pro for Mac OS X. iData Pro is a free-form database suitable for keeping track of any kind of info — it’s billed as “the next generation of InfoGenie, QuickDex and Super QuickDex.”

iData Pro for Mac OS X version 1.0.4 now features support for Palm OS-compatible devices including those made by Palm, Handspring and others. It can also import Mac OS X Mail mailboxes. The new version includes a Jaguar-compliant help system, AppleScript support, improved navigation performance, fixes requested by users and more.
Registered users of iData Pro for Mac OS X are entitled to a free download by visiting the Web site. You’ll need your serial number handy to download the new version, however.
iData Pro is available for US$39.95. Upgrades from InfoGenie, QuickDex or Super QuickDex are available for $19.95.
