Softpress Systems has announced the availability of starter templates for their Freeway Web-authoring tool for the Mac.
Freeway allows users at all skill levels to create Web sites without coding, according to Softpress CEO Richard Logan. Freeway also offers a full range of features to support the site production and management. See our July 30 review of Freeway 3.5.
The initial templates are geared towards educational institutions and small businesses, and are now available from the Softpress Web site. Additional templates will be added on a regular basis, Logan said. The templates are available without charge to all Freeway users, even those using the free 30-day trial version.
“Freeway was originally created for professional designers and Web developers,” Logan said. “However, its intuitive interface and complete toolset has made it very popular among educators, students and business owners. Providing templates should help customers to produce their own Web sites faster and easier than ever before.”
