The Seattle InDesign User Group meets tonight from 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm at the Adobe University, 701 N. 34th Street, Seattle; the Adobe University is located just across the street (north) from the main Adobe building.
Group organizers say this meeting is targeted to people considering making the move to InDesign or existing users that haven’t fully made the switch. The theme for tonight’s meeting, “Successful InDesign Conversion,” will see quest speakers from Microsoft who will talk about the factors that Microsoft used in evaluating moving to InDesign.
Mark Ketter and Gary Scott, from Rainier Color, a local Seattle Service Provider will talk about their experiences using InDesign. They will discuss how to prepare files for successful output. They will also talk about printing transparency from InDesign and some of the testing that was done at Rainier.
