Mobility Electronics has announced that its MAGMA CardBus-to-PCI Expansion Systems now work in Jaguar, with Mac OS X 10.2.2’s release. The MAGMA systems enable PowerBooks to work with PCI expansion cards.

Mobility Electronics noted that many of its development partners — including Pro Tools maker Digidesign and digital video maker Pinnacle Systems — are working towards OS X solutions, as well.
Solution Partner Programs Manager Victoria Baker of Mobility said that OS X support has been a top priority. “We have been working closely with both Apple Computer and Digidesign to bring about this result,” said Baker.
