Interactive Media Corp., which makes storage and multimedia devices, has released the new KanguruMicro MP3, a combination palm-sized USB Flash Drive and MP3 player that’s palm-sized, measuring three-inches.
It comes with its own set of headphones, a neck strap, a universal headphone adapter, and a rechargeable battery that purportedly lasts up to six hours and the ability to store as much as 256MB worth of data or 3.5 hours worth of music. It’s compatible with all USB equipped Macs, as well as Windows and Linux systems.
In addition to storing music, the KanguruMicro MP3 can also be used to data files such as word processing docs, databases and spreadsheets. The device’s battery is rechargeable through your USB port. Standard features include an LED indicator, write protect switch and power support savings mode. Pricing is US$99.95 for the 64MB version, $139.95 for the 128MB model and $199.95 for the 256MB KanguruMicro MP3.
