Apple has been nominated for two BETT Awards, which “recognize and reward the creativity, innovation and commitment of an organization or company in developing high-quality and effective educational-ICT resources,” according to a Macworld UK article.
Apple has been nominated in the Hardware Primary section for the eMac and in the Hardware Secondary for the iMac G4 — winners will be announced January 9, 2003.
Apple has won BETT Awards in 2001 and 2002 for AirPort, iMovie 2 and iDVD. BETT is the world’s leading exhibition for Information and Communications Technology (ICT) in Education. Held in London, it allows educators to try, test and compare a wide range of educational specific software, hardware, multimedia, Internet and IT support services. BETT is the longest running event in the UK’s educational calendar.
