Kanzu Utilities has released Image Info 3.0, a major update to its image info retrieval utility. A demo can be downloaded from the company’s Web site.

Image Info provides specific data about images — EXIF, IPTC and color profile information, data on dimensions, color space, channels, layers, clipping paths, comments and more. It does so without opening the images, so the data can be retrieved very quickly.
Image Info 3.0 sports a completely reworked interface that provides easier access to image information. It supports drag and drop as well. It’s also AppleScriptable, and comes with a dozen script examples to help you get started.
Image Info costs US$25 to register. Registered users of previous versions can upgrade for $10. System requirements call for Mac OS 8.5 or higher (a separate download is available for Mac OS X).
