QuickBooks is Intuit’s small business accounting software package, recently resurrected for the Mac with a new QuickBooks Pro Edition 5.0 version. Announced in 2002, the software began shipping about a month ago. QuickBooks Pro Edition 5.0 gains OS X compatibility, new report printing features, new search features and other improvements.
The QuickBooks forum on Macworld’s Web site will serve as a community gathering point for QuickBooks users or potential users to exchange tips and ideas with each other. What’s more, Intuit’s own QuickBooks team will monitor the forum to get feedback from Mac users.
Intuit Mac Products business leader Cary Rosenzweig acknowledged the passion of his company’s Mac users, and added, “We’re delighted that MacWorld is providing a place for our customers to share with one another and where their voices can be heard by Intuit.”
