ConceptDraw Mindmap has been developed to help users organize, generate and present ideas visually by creating “mind maps” that use words, symbols, color and pictures. It’s effective for explaining ideas, preparing reports, generating presentations, organizing brainstorming sessions and more, according to CS Odessa.
ConceptDraw Mindmap product manager Valeriy Ryazanov explained that CS Odessa focused on making the new version more flexible and convenient with new, useful capabilities. “We hope that our users will appreciate it all the more the upgrade is free,” said Ryazanov.
The new version of Mindmap now supports FTP, enabling users to remotely save documents and HTML files to servers. It can also export linked documents to HTML, and imports ConceptDraw XML content too. What’s more, CS Odessa said that the new version sports many user-requested improvements.
ConceptDraw Mindmap Standard costs US$99, while the Professional version costs $149. Academic discounts are available. It runs on Mac OS 8.6 or later, including Mac OS X.
MacExpo 2002 takes place at the Business Design Centre in London, England from November 21 – 23, 2002.
