Lasso Studio 6 helps Web designers and developers to interface their sites with Lasso Professional databases. The software provides users with a visual interface that doesn’t require hardcore programming skills to work with. It also uses wizards and tools to ease the process further.
New features in Lasso Studio 6 include live data preview; database “snapshot” editor; the ability to selectively show and hide database schema; a redesigned interface; improved performance; and much more.
Scheduled for final release before the end of the year, Lasso Studio 6 for Adobe GoLive 6 is available to qualified parties by contacting Blue World by e-mail.
The company said that new and upgrade pricing for Lasso Studio 6 will be announced once it ships. Until then, Blue World is offering US$100 off the regular price of Lasso Studio 1.x. Why the jump in version numbers? It appears that Blue World is trying to align Lasso Studio’s release scheme with Lasso Professional 6, its Web application server.
In related news, Blue World anticipates releasing Lasso Studio 6 for Macromedia Dreamweaver MX in early 2003.
