Six new topics have been added to the Power Tools Conferences, which IDG World Expo noted sold out to audiences at last year’s San Francisco show. New topics include Advanced OS X Concepts & Administration, Dreamweaver, DVD Studio Pro, FileMaker Pro, Final Cut Pro, Interactive Solutions, Mac OS X 10.2 (Jaguar), Professional Photoshop and QuarkXPress.
Hands-on MacLabs are a recent addition to the roster that debuted this past July at Macworld Conference & Expo New York 2002. The labs provide attendees with hands-on training on topics including PDF production, wireless networks and Flash 5 ActionScript. MacLab attendees must bring their own laptops to the session, but they’re taught by expert trainers.
Also on the roster for the January show are a series of one-day, full-day sessions that provide intensive training on the products showcased on the exhibit floor itself. Sessions have been created to appeal to professional users, managers and consumers alike.
Featured speakers for this year’s conference sessions include New York Times columnist David Pogue, Apple’s Sal Soghoian, Bob “Dr. Mac” Levitus, and many others.
Macworld Conference & Expo returns to San Francisco’s Moscone Center from January 6 – 10, 2003. To find out more info or register for the event, visit the Web site now.
