WEGA Distribution, Apple’s official partner in Ukraine, has begun selling Apple computers in IT outlets in the Ukraine, according to a EuropeMedia.net report.
Due to a partnership with the MByte chain in Kyiv, WEGA will sell a range of products that include the eMac, iMac, iBook and iPod, the article adds. Oleg Lakhotsky from WEGA Distribution told EuropeMedia.net that the decision to put Apple machines on stores shelves “resulted from strong interest in Macintosh from the public.”
The Ukraine is no stranger to Mac products. CS Odessa, the company behind such products as ConceptDraw, is based there.
