El Gato Software has updated its EyeTV software to version 1.0.4. The new version is ready for download from El Gato Software’s Web site.

EyeTV is a Digital Video Recorder (DVR) software application that works hand in hand with a USB peripheral to enable Mac OS X users to watch TV programs and record them to hard disk for later viewing.
The new version of EyeTV, 1.0.4, now offers full AppleScript support. It can wake up your Mac (running Mac OS X 10.2 or later) from sleep or power it up from a cold boot to record shows as well. A new preference item remembers whether the live TV window was open or closed. Scheduling support via Karelia Software’s Watson software is now active, as well. Several bug fixes and stability improvements have also been made.
