Iomega offers free evaluations and estimates, along with online tracking and optional on-site service if necessary. Iomega’s new recovery service works with servers and RAID arrays, DLT and other tape formats, DAS, NAS and SAN storage architectures, internal and external hard drives, removable magnetic and optical media, flash memory cards, even legacy media. Iomega also offers support for all major operating systems, including the Mac.
The overall price for the service will vary depending on the complexity of the recovery, but it starts at about US$500, according to the company. Typical recoveries take anywhere from one to five days.
