Stock Calculator is a simple stock trade profit and loss calculator. The software can help determine total cash outlay, per share buying price or number of shares when buying stock. When selling stock, Stock Calculator can help to figure out net profit amount, total return percentage or per share selling price.
What’s more, Stock Calculator can also include flat rate, percentage, per share or custom commissions in calculations as well — useful to help define commission rates. You can also specify taxes on net profits. Once you’re done with your calculations, they can be saved, opened and printed for future reference. There’s also a built in fractions table that helps you convert between dollar amount share prices and stock fractions in 1/64 increments.
Stock Calculator for Mac OS X requires a G3 or better with Mac OS X 10.1 or higher. It’s available as a 30-day demo which requires you to pay a US$15 registration fee to continue to use.
