French scanner maker Qubyx Ltd announced today that all of its scanners ship with Silverfast AI 6 Pro scanning software, making them compatible with Mac OS X and Windows XP alike.

Silverfast AI 6 provides features including IT8 color calibration; MidPip 4 advanced color cast removal; Silverfast SRD, a dust and scratch removal technology; selective color correction with multilayer and multimasking support; SF ACR adaptive color restoration, which helps to restore faded out colors and normalize oversaturated colors, and more.
Qubyx’s line of scanners aims at the mid-range professional markets, with options in large and small formats ranging from €1,390 to €5,490 depending on features, resolution and functionality.
