Dejal Systems LLC has released Simon 1.0, a monitoring tool for Mac OS X that monitors the operational status of your Web or FTP site.

Users can specify the frequency that Simon checks the site. The software also provides different ways that you can be notified when the site’s status changes. If you’re not the administrator of a Web site or FTP site but you’d like to know when one changes to keep an eye on it, Simon can be used for that purpose as well.
Simon is localized in both English and French. Three license levels are available depending on the number of sites you want to test, ranging from US$29.95 to $195. Simon requires Mac OS X 10.1 or later.
