AG Neovo, a relatively new player in the flat panel display market, is shipping its new models, the S-Series LCD displays, at this week’s Comdex trade show in Las Vegas, Nevada, AG Neovo spokesperson Kellie Jordan told MacCentral.
The displays have a 170-degree viewing angle and boast AG Neovo’s NeoV Crystal Optic Filter, a specially formulated, hardened optical glass that’s built on top of the internal LCD panel. The NeoV Crystal Optic Filter produces “vibrant color, crisp text and crystal clear image definition, while also protecting the delicate LCD panel from damage,” said Minson Chen, vice president of AG Neovo.
The S-Series — which include analog, DVI and S-Video connections — are available in 15-, 17-, 18- or 19-inch TFT active matrix screens at 1024×768 or 1280×1024 resolutions. Street prices range from US$499 to $1,099 and come with small, foldable footprint stands. AG Neovo offers an optional TV tuner, which transforms the displays into LCD TVs. Touchscreens are also available.
