Adobe Systems Inc. will host a Photoshop Elements 2.0 seminar at Apple’s SoHo retail store on Tuesday, December 10, 2002. The course will take place in the theater from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm.
Adobe Application Specialist Lynn Grillo will conduct the seminar, which is targeted to people that want to use Elements for print, e-mail and the Web. Photoshop Elements 2.0 was announced earlier this year for Mac OS X providing many new features for hobbyists and amateur photographers.
Elements 2.0 provides easier access to commonly needed tools, along with new color correction, compositing and creative tools. Users can share slideshows in Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF), as well.
Lighting and color correction capabilities are provided for in a single dialog window in Photoshop Elements 2.0, making it possible to view the original file side-by-side with its modified version. The new version of Elements also features instant-access help files and “how to” recipes that can be pulled up by typing keywords. Photoshop Elements 2.0 also sports one-step resize and image attachment. A new file browser lets users preview, sort and organize images by thumbnail, too.
No registration is necessary to attend the seminar.
