Watzman Associates Inc. has posted a FileMaker-based database solution it hopes will eliminate the “black notebooks” often found in businesses that share common meeting locations. It’s called RoomDex, and it’s available for download now.

RoomDex was created to schedule meetings and other events in conference rooms, laboratories, computer labs and other shared locations. It can be used by schools, businesses, churches and other organizations, according to the developer.
The interface enables you to arrange meetings spanning multiple days, weeks or months, and you can view and print daily and weekly schedules too. It’ll warn you of scheduling conflicts, also.
RoomDex is offered in a single-user license for US$99 or in a multi-user version for $249. The multi-user version requires FileMaker Pro 5.0 or greater. It’s cross-platform compatible. A demo version is available.
