Extensis Inc. is releasing a new version (2.5) of PhotoFrame, their Adobe Photoshop plug-in that allows users to interactively border and edge effects. The update adds support for Adobe Photoshop 7.0 and Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0 in Mac OS X.
PhotoFrame is an add-on for Photoshop and elements that allows users to add special effects to the edges of their images. With it, you can experiment with artistic edge effects, colors, blend modes, shadows, textures and bevels to create borders for photos and images.
As of version 2.5, PhotoFrame includes over 1,000 new, professionally designed frames, bringing the total to 2,000+. Some of the 1,000-plus new frame families included in PhotoFrame 2.5 are Acid Burn, Junkyard, Paper Mache, and more than 100 different variations of the Emulsion family of frames that let users depict any number of camera edge effects.
The English version of PhotoFrame 2.5 is available now for download from the Extensis Web site. It has a suggested retail price of US$199.95 for the full product and $49.95-$79.95 for upgrades from previous versions. PhotoFrame 2.5 supports Mac OS X (10.1.5 or higher) and Mac OS 7.5.5- 9.2.2; Photoshop 4.0-7.0; Elements 2.0; Adobe ImageReady 1.0-3.0 and 7.0.
PhotoFrame requires a Power Mac with 128MB RAM for Mac OS X or a Power Mac with 32MB RAM for Mac OS 7.5.5 through 9.2.2 (128 MB recommended).
