Stupendous Software has updated its iMovie plug-ins to version 1.1. The updated software includes 10 improvements and nine new effects, according to the developers. This brings Stupendous’ total number of iMovie effects to 141.

Changes in the version 1.1 release include:
Color Effects 1.1 (1 new effect, 4 improved): Added a “Color Bars” effect, and improved noise distribution for four “Pixel Noise” effects. Crops & Zooms 1.1 (4 new effects, 1 improved): Added three new zoom effects and a “Rotate, Fixed” effect. Added background brightness control to the “Rotate” effect. Glows & Blurs 1.1 (4 new effects): Added four new effects to the family of “Streaks” effects. Time Effects 1.1 (5 improved effects): Added new controls to “Motion Trail”, “Time Warp”, and three “Frames Per Second” effects. System requirements call for iMovie 2.1.1 and Mac OS 9 or higher. The plug-in packs are priced at US$25 each. Upgrades are free for existing users.
