The 6th User Group University will be held in conjunction with January’s Macworld Conference & Expo in San Francisco, and registration is now open.
Produced by The Apple User Group Advisory Board, User Group University is a user group leadership event. The 2003 event will be hosted by the North Coast Macintosh User Group and held at the Argent Hotel (50 Third Street) in San Francisco on Monday, January 6. Macworld Expo San Francisco will take place from January 6-10 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, California.
User group leaders from around the world will attend the day-long series of seminars and workshops to get new ideas on how to strengthen and improve their organizations, according to Chuck Joiner, editor-in-chief of The MUG Center, an online resource for Mac User Groups (MUGs). Registration is limited to four members per group, and attendees must register separately. Registration is US$35 per person. Space is limited, so you should register early, Joiner said
Student user group leaders are also welcome at User Group University, to meet their peers, share ideas and learn how their groups can become even more involved in the campus user group movement. A special student discount is available. Complete details are available on The MUG Center.
The Apple User Group Advisory Board is a group of leaders who run successful user groups in their communities.
