MacExpo 2002 is happening this week in London, England, and Macworld UK is there. The magazine has announced its Best of Show awards for the event.

On the list of hardware recognized by Macworld UK is Apple’s SuperDrive-equipped PowerBook G4, clocked at 1GHz. Palm Inc.’s Tungsten T PDA grabs top honors too, along with Formac’s Gallery 2010 LCD display, Hermstedt’s StingRay multi-platform appliance server, and Griffin Technology’s PowerWave desktop audio amplifier.
Software that got the nod from Macworld UK included Steinberg Cubase SX, a music creation and production application recently retooled for Mac OS X; Maxon Cinema 4D R8, a 3D animation and rendering tool; Extensis’ preflighting software PrintReady; Alias|Wavefront’s Maya 4.5 Complete — the 3D modeling and animation software — and Realviz ImageModeler, which helps users to create 3D models out of 2D images.
