Mac User Group (MUG) members can breath easy. There will again be a user group presence on the show floor at the Macworld Conference & Expo in San Francisco.
The Macintosh User Group Booth will be hosted by the North Coast Macintosh Users Group and will feature a rotating slate of MUGs, including a number of campus user groups, for all four days of the Expo. For a list of groups slated to exhibit, go to The MUG Center, an online resource for MUGs. Additional groups, and more news on attractions in the Macintosh User Group Booth will be announced soon, according to Chuck Joiner, editor-in-chief of The MUG Center.
Macworld Expo San Francisco will take place from Jan.6-10 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, California. MUGs are good places for making new friends, finding Mac-loving buddies, boning up your technical expertise, finding solutions to technical problems, and sometimes finding a good deal on used hardware. For more info on MUGs, and to find the location of the one nearest you, go to Apple’s User Group Web page.
