The software is designed to enable businesses to send out e-mail with personalized greetings and content without displaying long recipient lists in the header. Users can attach files, include HTML mail, import and export and more.
New to MailDrop 1.2 is an iTunes-style “filter” search box. Other improvements include faster bulk operations, an Import option via AppleScript that works with Marketcircle’s DayLight products; ability to open a new SMTP connection with every 10 recipients; automatic space stripping from e-mail addresses; improved .CSV and .TXT file import; and correction of a small memory leak with comma-separated file importing.
System requirements call for Mac OS X 10.1 or later and 3MB hard disk space.
Normally priced at US$59, MailDrop 1.2 is available for 20 percent off during the month of December. The coupon should appear automatically when purchasing the software through the Freshly Squeezed Software Web site, but if not, use coupon code “CPN712254455.”
