The first X-Arcade is a two-player joystick system featuring a total of twenty buttons. It looks and feels like the joystick and button array you’d find on the front of a coin-op arcade game.
The new X-Arcade Solo features the same design and same manufacturing quality, only in a single-player setup that its manufacturer says is small enough to fit in a lap (good thing, too, since the two-player X-Arcade system is about two feet wide).
Featuring an interface that can be adapted for Macs, PCs, Microsoft Xbox, Nintendo Gamecube, Sony PlayStation, PlayStation 2 and Sega Dreamcast, the X-arcade Solo carries a suggested retail price of US$99. Nationwide availability is anticipated in January. Visit the XGAMING Web site for more information.
