The online bank Egg has appointed Pascal Cagni, vice-president and general manager of Apple Europe, to its board as a non-executive director, according to Revolution magazine .
Cagni joined Apple on April 3, 2000, coming from NEC/Packard Bell Europe, where he had most recently served as vice president of consumer products. Prior to Packard Bell, Pascal held sales and sales management positions with Software Publishing Corp. and Compaq Computer. He began his career with Booz Allen & Hamilton after obtaining an MA in Law at Institut d’Etudes Politiques in Paris and an MBA from Institut Superieur des Affaires.
Egg launched its first product in France at the start of this month in the form of its Visa credit card, la Carte Egg, according to Revolution.
