FMP World 2003’s particular focus is on the use of FileMaker Pro in K-12 and higher education. The event will include twelve presentations in three tracks — Foundation, Developer and Solutions — each of which will offer detailed information for their prospective audiences. The Foundation track will include content geared at developers and decision-makers, while the Developer track will address the needs of in-house developers and independent consultants alike. The solutions track will include four sessions geared on exposing FileMaker technology for education using proven solutions.
FMP World 2003 will also feature a keynote address by Andrew LeCates, FileMaker’s manager of North American systems engineering. LeCates is expected to discuss FileMaker 6 products and share his view of the platform’s future in education. LeCates’ keynote address is scheduled for Monday, March 31 at 9 AM.
If you think you’ve got something to add, the show’s coordinators are accepting proposals for speakers for each of the different conference tracks — download the Speaker Handbook for more details. Sponsorship is also available.
The event is scheduled to take place on March 31 and April 1, 2003 at the Doubletree Hotel & Executive Meeting Center in Plano, Texas. Registration costs US$599 between now and February 28th — after that, it’s $699.
