Inside Mac Games’ Game Doctor 2.0 has been released. The software is a collection of hints, tips and cheats for popular Macintosh games with over 1,300 “prescriptions” available.

The new version of Game Doctor is Mac OS X-compatible. Game Doctor offers more than just hints and cheats, however — its “prescriptions” also include more than 100 different game patches you won’t find elsewhere.
Prescriptions range from everything from text files to embedded sounds, graphics, and Internet links. Game Doctor’s progressive walkthroughs use the Universal Hint System, so everything isn’t given away all at once. Game Doctor also supports an open architecture that anyone can use to create new prescriptions.
New registrations for Game Doctor cost US$10. Updates to version 2.0 cost $5, but if you’re continuing to use Game Doctor exclusively with Mac OS 8 or 9, your old registration code will continue to work.
