O’Reilly & Associates has released “Dreamweaver MX: The Missing Manual” (ISBN 0-596-00349-8,) by David Sawyer McFarland.
Dreamweaver is a Web production application — the MX version was released on April 29. Dreamweaver MX allows development of HTML, XHTML, ColdFusion, ASP, ASP.NET, JSP or PHP websites. The application enables control over code and design with layout tools as well as coding features like code hints, tag editors, extensible color coding, tag choosers, snippets and code validation.
The US$34.95, 779-page tome looks at Dreamweaver MX for Mac OS X, Mac OS 9 and Windows. The book is designed to help both first-time and experienced Web designers create interactive Web sites.
