Peachpit Press, New Riders, and Borders Books & Music are now offering free passes to next month’s Macworld Conference & Expo. To win the freebies, it helps if you live in California, since that’s where the participating Borders stores are located.

Participating Borders stores in select California locations are now distributing free Macworld Expo passes, valued at US$35, for the event. You don’t have to purchase anything, but the giveaway is limited to two passes per customer. Also note that the passes are good for entrance to the Macworld Expo exhibit hall only, and aren’t valid for Macworld conferences. The offer is good through December 24 or while supplies last.
Borders and Peachpit Press have also collaborated on a new promotional campaign themed “Inspire, Design, Deliver.” Aimed at motivating creative media and Mac professionals, the campaign kicks off with the Macworld Expo giveaways and extends into 2003 with joint in-store book promotions and sweepstakes.
The Peachpit Publishing Group, in conjunction with Borders Books & Music, will also be exhibiting at Macworld Expo. Authors Robin Williams, (“The Non-Designer’s Design Book” and “The Little Mac OS X Book, Version 10.1”), Bob LeVitus, (“The Little iTunes Book 2E”), and Bert Monroy, (“Photoshop Studio with Bert Monroy”) are slated to appear.
Macworld Conference & Expo San Francisco will take place from Jan. 6-10, 2003 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, California.
