Bare Bones Software has released BBEdit 7.0.1, a minor maintenance update to its recently updated text editor for the Macintosh.

BBEdit is designed for HTML and general purpose text editing. It also provides extensive searching, transformation and manipulation capabilities used by Web authors, software developers and others. BBEdit 7.0 incorporated changes including support for CVS, the ability to more easily configure multiple Web sites and more.
Version 7.0.1 makes some interface refinements and corrects some problems reported by users, according to Bare Bones Software. A complete list of changes can be viewed through the online release notes Web page.
