Bookit 3 works with the existing bookmark capabilities in Mac OS X Web browsers to provide a unified bookmark management system. You can use Bookit to synchronize your bookmarks between different browsers. Though the software has been available previously as a publicly available beta download, this announcement marks the “final” release of Bookit 3.
Changes in Bookit 3 include support for Chimera and Opera 6 Web browsers, along with a new global system menu for bookmark access. Bookit 3 also has an improved user interface, a preview menu, detection for broken links and support for tabbed bookmark groups, improved Unicode character support and more. Details are available from the Bookit 3 Web page.
Distributed as US$12 shareware, Bookit 3 is available for download as a demo version. Upgrades from previous versions of Bookit cost $5.
